FlexBuddy is designed exclusively for Amazon Flex drivers aged 18 and older to optimize delivery routes and track performance.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Changes become effective immediately upon posting.

Amazon Flex Compliance and Data Protection

FlexBuddy operates independently of Amazon Flex and is designed to fully comply with Amazon Flex's terms of service and privacy policies.

What We NEVER Collect or Store:

  • Customer personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, emails)
  • Package tracking numbers or shipment details
  • Recipient personal data or contact information

Android Accessibility Service Usage

FlexBuddy uses Android Accessibility Service exclusively to read Amazon Flex route information displayed on your screen. This eliminates the need for you to manually enter route data or upload screenshots.

What the Accessibility Service reads:

  • Delivery addresses visible in Amazon Flex app (for route optimization only)
  • Package counts shown on your screen (for progress tracking only)
  • Route information displayed by Amazon Flex

What the Accessibility Service NEVER does:

  • Access your Amazon Flex account or credentials
  • Read passwords or personal information
  • Access data from other applications
  • Communicate with Amazon's servers
  • Store customer personal information
  • Read package tracking numbers or customer details

This service operates only when you actively use FlexBuddy's import feature and only reads information already visible to you on your screen.

Information We Collect and Store

Route Optimization Data (Stored in Cloud):

  • Delivery addresses (for route optimization purposes only - automatically deleted after route completion)
  • Your delivery completion times and performance metrics
  • Your selected end destinations (home, other locations you choose)
  • Route optimization comparisons and fuel savings calculations

Location Information:

  • Your current location (for route optimization and navigation)
  • Starting and ending points of your delivery routes
  • Real-time position for progress tracking

Account Information:

Free Trial Information:

  • We may collect billing information during your 7-day free trial signup

App Permissions

FlexBuddy requests the following permissions:

  • Accessibility Service: To read Amazon Flex route data from your screen (as described above)
  • Location: To optimize routes based on your current position and chosen end destination
  • System Alert Window (Overlay): To display route status and progress information over other apps
  • Notifications: To send route updates, completion alerts, and app notifications
  • Query Installed Apps: To detect if Amazon Flex is installed on your device for compatibility

All permissions are used solely for FlexBuddy's core functionality and route optimization features.

How We Use Your Information

Data Retention and Deletion

Account Deletion:

  • You can delete your account at any time through the "Delete My Account" feature in the App
  • Account deletion permanently removes ALL your data from our servers within 30 days
  • This includes route history, performance data, and all personal information

Automatic Data Management:

  • Inactive accounts are automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity
  • Delivery addresses are automatically deleted after route completion (typically within 24-48 hours)
  • Route history can be retained for performance tracking unless you choose to delete it
  • All associated data is permanently removed upon account deletion

Data Control:

  • You have full control over your data and can request deletion at any time
  • Route history can be cleared individually through the App settings
  • You can export your data before deletion if needed

Third-Party Services and Dependencies

FlexBuddy may integrate with or depend on third-party services for:

  • Payment Processing: Secure, PCI-compliant payment processors for subscriptions
  • Map and Navigation Services: For route optimization and traffic data
  • Cloud Storage and Security: For secure data storage and app functionality
  • Amazon Flex App: FlexBuddy depends on the Amazon Flex app being installed and accessible

Service Availability: FlexBuddy's functionality depends on the availability of the Amazon Flex app and third-party services. Service interruptions may occur due to factors beyond our control.
